When selecting low voltage halogen recessed downlighting for commercial or residential applications, you seek a product line that is creatively designed, intelligently fle*ible and
affordably priced. When Ardee developed Module*? we did so with these
same criteria in mind.
Module*? is a system of highly engineered recessed downlight trim
components that can be mi*ed or matched together to create the right
lighting complement to your building design.
The system consists of three low profile trim bodies constructed of
cast aluminum for optimum heat dissipation. They are UL and cUL Listed for ceiling
installations when used with Ardee Lighting’s A35 Series Rough-Ins and are also approved for use in non-plenum installations such as cabinetry or display cases without rough-ins. In addition, your choice of either a matte anodized reflector designed to produce soft, widespread general light from a halogen GY6.35 lamp or a matte anodized cone for high impact accent lighting from MR-16 lamps will bring about the desired lighting effect. Ribbed gold or chrome finished cones are also available for the MR-16 trim housing adding a touch of glamour to the fixture.
Next choose one of the 34 different trim styles available from simple open rings to low brightness cross blade louvers, wall washers to playful accent rings and cones, Module*? has a style that is right for your project.
Complete your trim with one of the astutely designed trim rings. Also constructed of die cast aluminum, they mount to the housing with a simple 1/4 turn and lock feature for easy installation and lamp maintenance. Trim rings are finished in your choice of white, black, or metallic silver powder coat, 24 karat gold plated, or polished chrome plated.
With Module*?, interior design continuity is assured. Fitting into spaces where larger downlights won’t and creating an interesting contrast in scale when combined.

讓英語課堂“活”起來的心得體會
英語課程改革的重點就是要強調課程從學生的學習興趣、生活經驗和認知水平出發，倡導體驗、實踐、參與、合作與交流的學習方式和任務型的教學途徑，發展學生的綜合語言運用能力，使語言學習的過程成為學生形成積極的情感態度、主動思維和大膽實踐、提高跨文化意識和形成自主學習能力的過程。本人結合教學實踐和探索，談談如何激活學生，從而讓高中英語教學“活”起來。
有效學習與無效學習的關鍵在于“主動”（active）的態度和過程（procedure）。那么，怎樣才能激活學生主動學習呢？
一、引入競爭機制，培養學生積極思考的習慣
好勝心強，不甘落后，是青少年學生共同的心理特征。因此，教師要有意識地運用競爭的方法激活學生，使每一個學生都積極主動地參與競爭。例如，一上課，我們可根據課文內容的切入點、關鍵點設計幾個帶有啟發性、開放性的問題。如在教學SEFC Book 1B Unit14 Festivals時，我設計了以下兩個問題：
1、Howdo Chinesecelebrate the SpringFestival?
2、Why do we celebrate the Spring Festival?
學生被分成了兩個大組進行競爭，看哪一組想出的觀點多、觀點好。這樣學生就會開動腦筋，積極思考。學生的想象力是驚人的，有時會使老師自嘆不如，他們會想出比教學參考書還多的答案。對于以上的兩個問題，學生想出了以下的回答：

這類開放性問題沒有標準答案，教師應允許學生“胡說八道”，允許他們張揚個性。教師要用期待的目光環視全體學生，要用鼓勵的眼神注視那些躍躍欲試的學生。在這定有激勵性的課堂氛圍中，學生會鼓足勇氣，信心百倍，爭先恐后站起來發表自己的見解。對于發表意見的學生，不管意見正確與否，都要給予恰如其分的表揚和贊譽，因為那畢竟是他們經過自身努力而想出來的，是他們積極思考的結果，而成功的喜悅體驗是學生的最大動力。最后，教師要總體評價，劃級分等，樹立榜樣。這樣，將競爭機制引入課堂，能形成緊張而活潑的課堂氣氛，能逐步培養m.airporthotelslisboa.com學生積極思考的習慣。
二、建構情景互動，激發學生的交際欲望
語言學習的目的是交際，語言交際能力也只有在真實自然的交際中才能獲得。所以，成功的外語教學在課內創設更多的情景，讓學生有機會運用所學的語言材料。
教師根據教學內容和學生的認知水平、知識背景，在教學過程中有意識、有目的地創設問題情景，并使這種情景具有鮮明的時代性、情感性、生活性、參與性，就能引發學生的認認知沖突，動搖學生已有的認知結構的平衡狀態，使他們產生疑惑和探索欲望，喚起思維的能動性，從而樂于發現問題、提出問題并進而使課堂成為一個充滿問題互動和活力的交際場所。
如在教學SEFC Book 1B Unit19 Speaking時，我讓五人為一個表演小組，一位扮演種甘蔗的專業戶，一位扮演種水稻的專業戶，一位扮演種水果的專業戶，一位扮演養豬專業戶，另一位扮演村長，然后五人就如何使用一塊土地的問題展開討論，說出自己的觀點，并說明理由支持自己的觀點或反對別人的觀點。
整個教學過程中，學生都全身心投入表演，挖空心思想出理由來，不知不覺中訓練了語言交際能力，較好地完成了這節課的目的，即“提供建議和做出決定”。這難道不是建構情景互動的魅力嗎？
以上是我在激活學生的主動學習熱情和創造性思維從而激活課堂方面的體會。激情與創意思維本身是看不見、摸不著的，它在頭腦和心靈深處，靠教師用心智、用熱情去激活。課堂中的點滴火花都是可貴的，正所謂“星星之火，可以燎原”。學生的熱情一旦被激起，無數靈感與創意將油然而生，這是我們所高興看到的。

參加E市農村小學英語骨干教師心得體會
上周參加了E市農村小學英語骨干教師新課程培訓，覺得很感動，這是我期待和向往已久的、真正有實效的教研活動。這都要感謝各地、各區教研員的悉心安排，這一系列活動，其宗旨就是切切實實提高我們英語教師的業務能力。
受益匪淺的第一天。聽了由蕭山區朝暉小學z老師執教的《It’s warm today》，以及崇文實驗學校z執教的《Who’s taller?》，最后由z老師的綜合點評，真的學到了很多。首先，兩位年輕老師個人素養都很高，語音面貌較好，并有較強的語言駕馭能力，自始至終有正確的語言示范，這些無疑給學生的語音學習奠定了良好的基礎。
其次，樊老師在執教過程的實效性較高。導入清楚、操練充分，層層遞進；多媒體的運用恰到好處，沒有花哨、作秀的成分；雖然是語法教學，但沒有生硬的語法講解，而是自然地滲透，示范，這真是我們小學階段語法教學課的典范。當然經過徐老師的一番點評，讓我也更深刻地認識了這兩堂課需要改進的地方，如《Who’s taller?》一課中，這雖然是一節語法課，在最后也可以滲透情感教育：I’m shorter than you but I’m stronger than you（我比你矮，但比你強壯），引導學生不必自卑，要學會尋找自己的閃光點。
倍受感動的第二天。第二天主要進行了專題講座，分別是蕭山區教研員吳麗華老師的“英語教師的專業成長——做一名有魅力的小學英語教師”和E市教研員吳萍老師的語音模擬教學。吳麗華老師主要介紹了她們蕭山區英語教研活動的一些經驗和所取得的成效；吳萍老師則把我們帶回到了學生時代，為我們生動而風趣地演繹了一節語音模擬課，為我們的語音教學指明了方向，提高了認識。真的，我為教研員們這種務實的精神所折服，為這種認真的勁兒所感動，也不得不鞭策自己把這種精神、這種態度帶回到自己的教學工作中，和我的孩子們一起成長！
